Bonjour !
2016
As part of a design competition carried out during my studies, in partnership with the Automobile Club de France, Renault, and Strate School of Design, I designed a trophy intended to reward the winner of a contest dedicated to the future of mobility. The project was awarded second place and received a distinction from the Automobile Club de France.
This project conveys a vision of mobility that moves beyond exterior design to focus on the onboard experience and the very essence of use. In the era of autonomous vehicles, driving itself disappears, and the vehicle is redefined through its passengers rather than its driver. Mobility becomes a lived moment an inhabited space to be rethought in terms of comfort, interaction, and experience, rather than performance or speed.
The organic form of the trophy, inspired by a fragment of the golden spiral, embodies this idea of fluidity, continuous motion, and purity. It evokes a sense of harmonious circulation made possible by automated transport systems ; an image for a more fluid, virtuous future, extending even to the processes of sustainable production and fabrication.
